Professional Engagement lies at the heart of the Montessori Europe Congress and is founded on the belief that professional learning is most powerful when it is shared. It is where educators, school leaders, teacher trainers, practitioners, organisations and innovators come together to share ideas, exchange experience and inspire one another through meaningful professional learning.
For the Montessori Europe Congress 2027, we invite you to contribute to our theme: The Courage to Continue: Following the Child, Reimagining the Future
Every Montessori classroom, every school community and every educational initiative holds experiences that can inspire others. This could be an innovative approach, a practical solution to a common challenge, a new way of thinking, or simply a wish to explore an important question with colleagues. Your contribution can become part of a wider conversation that strengthens Montessori education across Europe and beyond.
One Programme. Five Engagement Formats.
We recognise that meaningful professional learning takes many forms. Some ideas are best explored through practical experience, while others benefit from thoughtful discussion or focused presentation. To support this diversity, contributors are invited to choose the Engagement Format that best reflects the learning experience they wish to create. Whether you wish to facilitate hands-on learning, share an innovative approach, lead an in-depth exploration, bring together multiple perspectives or guide an important conversation, each format has been designed to create meaningful opportunities for participation, reflection and professional growth.

Programme Strands
To help us develop a balanced and coherent Congress programme, contributors are invited to identify the Programme Strand that best reflects their proposal. The Programme Strands for 2027 are:
Engagement Format
Every session will be 90 minutes in duration.
Delivered twice on Saturday, 2 October 2027 - once during the morning programme and again during the afternoon programme to two independent groups of delegates.
The Programme Committee will allocate each accepted contribution to the venue and room configuration that best supports the chosen Engagement Format and the intended participant experience.

When preparing your proposal, we encourage you to begin with the learning experience you would like delegates to have.
The most successful contributions are those in which the chosen format enhances the learning experience and creates meaningful opportunities for delegates to participate, reflect and connect.
