We are delighted to invite you to Frankfurt, Germany, for the Montessori Europe 2027 Congress – an international gathering where Montessori education engages with the realities of a rapidly changing world.
Building on the momentum of our 2026 Congress in Riga, where we rediscovered the power of connection and strengthened our collective voice, we now move forward with renewed purpose. The launch of the Adolescent Voice Collective marked an important step in affirming our commitment to education across all planes of development from the young child to the emerging adult. In 2027, we carry this work forward.
Taking place from 01 – 03 October 2027 in Frankfurt, this Congress brings together educators, researchers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond, united by a shared commitment to supporting human development through Montessori’s enduring principles.
This year’s theme, “The Courage to Continue: Following the Child, Reimagining the Future,”
calls us to reflect deeply on what it means to remain both grounded and responsive in our practice.

The Adolescent Voice Collective
Building on the success of the 2026 launch, the Adolescent Voice Collective will return to Frankfurt in 2027.

The Montessori Europe Congress 2027 will take place at the modern Riedberg Campus of the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Known for its innovative architecture and outstanding facilities, the campus offers bright lecture halls, flexible learning spaces, and excellent accessibility. Located in one of Germany’s most dynamic and international cities, it provides an inspiring setting for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas.

Frankfurt is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with an attractive historic centre, world-class museums, lively cafés and restaurants, and beautiful riverside walks along the Main.
Many delegates can enjoy combining their congress attendance with a few extra days exploring everything the city has to offer.
Accommodation is available throughout the city, with particularly good options around Römerberg, Frankfurt's historic market square, and the surrounding Altstadt (Old Town).
From here you can easily explore the city's historic streets, museums, shopping districts and dining scene, all within walking distance.
Easy Connections to Riedberg Campus
The congress venue at Goethe University Riedberg Campus is easily reached by Frankfurt's excellent public transport network.
From the city centre, simply take the U-Bahn to Uni-Campus Riedberg. The journey takes approximately 20–25 minutes, with frequent departures throughout the day.
This makes staying in central Frankfurt a convenient option for delegates who would like to enjoy the city's attractions while still having easy access to the congress each day.
